StatStrip® Glucose / Ketones POCT meter
The only interference-free blood sugar analyzer.
StatStrip® glucose / ketone test strip systems work with patented Multi-Well ™ measurement technology, which meets the increasing requirements of today’s blood sugar measurements in hospitals. The devices of the StatStrip® series were specially designed for the point-of-care. StatStrip® detects and corrects interferences such as hematocrit, electrochemical interferences (paracetamol, uric acid, asorbic acid), other types of sugar such as maltose, galactose (immunoglobulin preparations) and xylose (dialysis solutions) as well as oxygen, which can lead to incorrect results with other measuring devices.
- FDA approval for all patients
- Extensive networking options
- Measures ketones from whole blood
- Detects and corrects interference
- 3 levels of quality control
- For professional use only
- Docking station (for connectivity models)
Technology
Measuring blood sugar and ketones with one device.
StatStrip® Glucose / Ketone automatically recognizes which test strip is inserted and automatically switches to the corresponding measuring mode. No preparations are necessary on the device, you can measure with either glucose or ketone test strips.
StatStrip® - test strip technology
StatStrip® Multi-Well ™ blood glucose test strips deliver exceptional measurement accuracy, even in the hyper- and hypoglycemic range. In one of the largest studies ever carried out with glucose measuring devices (35 participating hospitals, 1,703 data points), StatStrip® achieved excellent correlations over the entire measuring range to the plasma hexokinase reference method of 10 to 600 mg / dl (0.5 to 33.3 mmol / l) .
Test strip system without Calibration codes.
StatStrip® test strips do not require any codes and are consistently precise, even when using different lots. Their shelf life is two years, even opened packages are stable for 6 months.
Conventionally manufactured blood glucose test strips require the use of calibration codes, as the sensitivity can vary greatly between individual lots. An incorrectly entered calibration code can affect the displayed glucose value by up to 43%.

Connectivity
Data connection of the StatStrip® monitoring systems in a LIS / HIS.
Using NovaNet ™, the device manager software for all clinical products from Nova Biomedical®, the StatStrip® can be connected to a network using TCP / IP and POCT1-A2. In this user-friendly point-of-care system, all users can be easily managed, all QC and patient data are recorded and reports can also be created.
Nova Biomedical® offers an extensive e-learning program for the re-certification of device users.
With the integrated scanner, operator and patient IDs can be read in using 1D / 2D barcodes or entered using the alphanumeric screen keyboard. Measurement results that are outside the normal range are clearly highlighted by color coding. Several features such as patient ID, name, date of birth, etc. are shown on the display for secure patient identification.
Advantages of the data connection:
- Simplified data management
- Time savings through more efficient worklfow
- Data available in real time in LIS and HIS
- Quality assurance through networked user and patient management
